Ginagaay – welcome to the traditional lands of the Gumbaynggirr people, on the beautiful mid-north coast of NSW.
Is Coffs Harbour a food destination? It certainly is! And I’m excited to share the foods of our region with you.
I’m a qualified tour guide, with an insatiable appetite for tasting new flavours, and learning about different ingredients and cuisines.
On each tour I curate a series of tastings for you to savour, and I share a sense of place as well as taste.
Why not learn more about Coffs community and culture, in between food bites?
The Coffs Coast is the first location in NSW to receive certification as an eco-destination. Our climate is sub-tropical and we are surrounded by Nature.
Coffs Harbour is well known for its banana plantations, and blueberry farms – even blueberry wine. And there is so much more.
Our spectacular coastal location, nestled between the Pacific coast and the Great Dividing Range, is evolving into a serious food destination.
Coffs Harbour also offers delicious vegan sweet or savoury bites, Ethiopian cuisine, and contemporary or traditional Italian cuisine. Seafood lovers can feast on whole steamed trout or maybe a pan-fried whole baby snapper - or the freshest oysters?
Or if Tomahawk steaks are more to your liking, I know the best places.
You will eat well in Coffs if you know where to go – and knowing where is my super power.
And our local brewing and distillery game is strong.
Tucked away in Studio Lane in the city centre, King Tide Brewery serves craft beers on tap and niche limited edition brews – some named after local surf spots like Gallows Beach, or the Laneway Guardian DDH IPA with its own urban myth story.
At Woolgoolga you can choose between Woopi Brewery Co, or Critters Distillery who produce vodka, rum, and gin.
There are also lots of hidden places I can share with you on my customised and private tours – surrounded by green, or bush to beach paths, and beaches with birdlife and serenity.
Our Food Tours will give you a taste of Coffs Coast, and my Art Tours combine my passion for local art, served with a dreamy cocktail.
My tip for you? A hungry tour guide is always the best tour guide.
BITE FOOD TOURS are a great way to meet the locals, and experience Coffs Coast food and hospitality.
We cater for small groups to keep each tour personalised and responsive to our tour guests.
